Why We Like The HOKA Gaviota 5 Wide Shoe
Plush and stable—that's the HOKA Gaviota 5 Wide Shoe. This super-soft running shoe features gobs of EVA foam to cushion each step while adding a stabilizing H-Frame to protect against over-pronation. I love the Gaviota 4 so much better.
The Goviota 4 are so much better than the 5's. The 5's are so soft and mushy, also the 5's look like clown shoes. Very, very wide looking. Not sleek at all.

Most comfortable shoes I've had in a long time. I have arthritis in My feet & I can wear these all day!

Love my Hoka running shoes!
Invested in my first pair of divine Hoka running shoes and see why they are so popular. It's like walking on clouds and flying thru the air! They are colorful and unique. Only downside is that they are pricey.

Comfy but very wide
Comfy - but way much wider in toe box than the Gaviota 4's. Had to size down from womens 10.5 to 10.0 (medium width). My feet look so huge in them but I am still going to to wear them. Wish hoka would consider making narrower Gaviota

I can only wear Gaviota
I can only wear the Gaviota. I wish that they had better color choices like the other styles other than boring colors, My only real complaint is I likes the back tab better on Gaviota 4. It I feel was a lot tougher. The 5 after one week was coming away from seam. Again though I have high arch and planters fascitiis and have tried 2 other Hoka styles and 5 other brands and this is all I can wear. That's why I need more color choices please.

I would definitely buy this product again!
I switched to Hoka shoes many, many pairs ago and love them, especially the Gaviotas. Unfortunately, a year or two ago the Gaviota 4s seemed to run narrow in the toe box and I was bummed because one of the reasons I loved them was they ran a little wider. To my great delight the Gaviota 5s are back to having more room in the toe box! Thank you. Please don't change them!

I wish they went back to the other frame.
I've had Gaviota 3s and 4s that helped my plantar fasciitis but the Gaviota 5s seem to have switch from their J-frame to an H-frame so I'm going to have to find another brand for my issues.

Great shoe, but too wide
Hoka Gaviota is the perfect shoe for my feet. The cushioning and arch support is exceptional. I own a few Hoka Gavs because it has been the only shoe that provides me the support needed for recovery from a torn tendon. However, this new? design is too wide in the toe area, and the size was 7.5 regular width. It was still very comfortable and supportive, a little roomy, but I just didn't like the Minnie Mouse look so I returned them.

Not my style
Not very comfortable. Caused a flare up of my plantar fasciitis. Definitely will stick with the Bondi from now on.
